Return on investment

• Click on Investing on the left sidebar.
• Click on the Portfolio tab (if not already selected)
• Click on the Columns icon on the far right of the toolbar just under the graph
• Select from the performance metrics on the left side what you want to see and drag them to the right side, in whatever order you want. (For instance, you mentioned yearly comparisons of ROI, so you'd select "ROI (%) 1-Year". Experiment with IRR and ROI over different time periods offered.)
• In the filters under the graph, set the first one to Performance
• Set the second filter to Group by Account or Group by Security, depending where you'd measure to see your performance
• If you want to zero in on just brokerage accounts or just retirement accounts or a specific account, use the third filter.

The screen will display the result based on the parameters you selected. You can print or export these results using the icons on the right side of the toolbar.
