How to deal with two computers and one database?

  Carefully. 
  

  Copy the file back and forth between the computers as needed.

  There is no syncing mechanism in Quicken to keep the two computers in agreement.

  Do NOT keep the file in a shared folder or on a network drive (local or cloud) since doing so may cause data file corruption due to the high frequency of reads/writes.

  Don't use a cloud service like DropBox to sync the file either, you can sync the backups, but not the actual data file.

  I suggest maintaining Quicken on one computer and a Remote Desktop Client when using the other computer.
