Loan Payments Not Automatic

I am a long-term user of Q for Windows who recently converted to Q for Mac. I had a mortgage loan set up which automatically posted the monthly payment to a checking account as well as the appropriate entries to the principal balance and escrow accounts. The Mac version of the set up appears to be correct, but the loan payments aren't happening. Do I somehow also need to set up a scheduled transaction?

    Have you tried the following:
    • Go to the mortgage account
    • Click on "Edit Loan and Payment Terms"
    • Click on the second button at the top "Bill Reminder"
    • Follow the steps
