Reconciled transaction keeps getting cleared

Things worked for over a decade or two with my American Express (AMEX) account. Recently, every time I download AMEX new credit card transactions, payments I made in the past, that have already been reconciled (now multiple times) keep showing up as not reconciled. Thatis they appear as if they were just downloaded.
It's simple enough to simply click on them so the balance goes to zero, but it is annoying and points to a bug in the software.
The problem is always the same two payments I made.
Any idea how to fix this?

Can you please provide the location of your data? To confirm the location of the file please review the steps available here.
Also, can you confirm if syncing to the mobile/web app is enabled? To locate this setting please see the steps below.- Go to Edit
- Preferences
- Mobile & Web
If this is enabled, do you actively use the mobile or web application?
