I assume  that you mean "stock  held at TDAmeritrade" and not  stock OF TDAmeritrade.
The simplest approach, when  it actually happens, is to simply disconnect your account(s) from download,  exit and  restart Q, EDIT the account(s) with the new Schwab info and  proceed.
You could stick in a $0  transaction, to mark the event, if you wanted.

Actually it is stock of TDAmeritrade. This week Schwab's acquisition of TDAmeritrade happened, and I was received 1.08 shares of Schwab for every 1 share of TDAmeritrade and the fractional shares were paid out in cash. I don't know what Action I should select in Quicken to transfer these correctly.

OK, sorry for the  mis-direction.   Obviously I didn't understand your question.
BUT, now I need further info re: your situation.
Specifically, WHICH Q product are you running, and  what BUILD of that product.
Do HELP,  About  Quicken  for this info.  (not all Q products have the same ability re: investment transactions).
ALSO, what  brokerage holds  this stock?  Is that staying the same?

I am using Quicken - Premier Version R29.16 Build 27.1.29.16

TDAmeritrade is the brokerage and until I am forced to move it will stay with them.

    Thanks

OK, so you're holding TDA stock in a  TDA account.
re: the move of the account ... I've already provided that info.
Use the Corporate Acquisition (Stock for Stock) action in the account.  This will give you Schwab stock with fractional shares.
Sell those fractional shares for the  cash received.

I may be blind but I don't see an Action called "Corporate Acquisition (Stock for Stock)". Can you tell me how to get this?

In your investment account, click "Enter Transaction" at the top of the account and then click on the dropdown menu "Enter Transaction".  The CorpAcq action is near the bottom of the list.
