How can I merge investment accounts

Currently I have a Quicken account for each TR Price mutual fund. Price has newly introduced an overall investor account that I can use to manage all my mutual funds at TR Price. Is it possible to merge each of the existing accounts into a single quicken account?

Well, the easiest way is to do TOOLS, Account List and click EDIT adjacent to any one of those account names.On the "Single Mutual Fund account" line, check YES NO (you don't want this account to be an SMF) and then OK to save your choice.In EACH of the other accounts, use "Move Shares Between accounts" and transfer the holdings to the account that's no longer SMF.If needed, in any of these accounts, use "Move Cash Between accounts" in the same manner.When done, close (do NOT Delete) each of these now artifact accounts. You'll still need them for the history of the securities that they contained.

I would add to NotACPA's guidance -- if applicable, rename the account receiving shares from the others so that is not referencing the security name it used to be limited to. Make sure for yourself by its name that it is clearly now a more comprehensive account.1

NOTACPA - This is my understanding of your description - I will be moving the current share balance but no the history. If this is correct, it will be quite difficult to maintain an accurate record of capital gains by lot.0
