Fidelity accounts - Quicken changing stock symbols

I was getting downloaded values that did not match on line values at Fidelity. Finally found that Quicken has changed two stock symbols and put in prices for Quicken's new stock symbols. The two correct symbols are RIO and SAN. What would they be changed to something different. By the way the symbols have not changed. They have been RIO and SAN.

I have noticed and had to spend a considerable amount of time in correcting errors after downloads from Fidelity Investments since mid November.
These include:
Recharacterizing investment accounts from Complete to Simple.
Changing investment type of Stock to Bond with a consequent change in
holding quantity and price causing a very large distortion in value of the
holdings affected.
Changing transaction actions from Buy to Added and Sold to Removed with a
consequent deletion of the cash for these transactions.
Price downloads of $1 for seemingly random investments.
I am running Quicken for Windows V. R30.10, build 27.1.30.100 -
I think you have stumbled into a couple of different issues ....- Fidelity and the $1.00 quote price
- Differences with how the Quicken Register reflects - Complete vs SimpleNot sure on your symbols getting changed, as I didn't see old vs changed ?0 -
Be aware that Fidelity made fairly major changes in November by merging several funds and this is very poorly represented in their transaction detail, trade confirmations and statements. All they give you is shares OUT and shares IN for the funds involved. No detail on share prices or total dollars either way. I don't ever do downloads to Quicken, but I've downloaded all my transaction detail ( outside of Quicken ) for the involved accounts and have tried to find closing share prices online to attempt to reconstruct the detail. Near as I can figure out so far, they must have halted trading on the closed funds November 20. The affected funds that I happened to own at the time were:
Strategic Advisors Core Fund
Strategic Advisors Growth Fund
Strategic Advisors Value fund
My holdings in each were merged into:
Strategic Advisors Large Cap Fund
Of course there may be others for which I had no holdings.
Their only comment is that it has no tax implications. Year end tax documents should be very interesting this year.
News stories are reporting that Fidelity as a business has had phenomenal growth this year. They have done an excellent job for us, and as of November 30, we are fully recovered from the pandemic panic and in the GREEN FOR THE YEAR after being down well over $100k at the low point.Ó¿Õ¬
