is there a way to split an account in Quicken Premier?

I have a bank account in quicken premier that is quite large going back to 2006. is there a way to split an account in Quicken Premier? for example 2006 to 2019 and 2019 to today?

Sure just create a new manual account and transfer the old transactions to it.
And then add a transaction to transfer the balance at that time to the existing account so that the opening balance is correct.
