Can't get into Quicken - keep getting - "A Scheduled Update is Currently Running"

How can I tell how long this will go on or how can I stop it? It's been at least 3 hours.

    Have you tried rebooting your computer?
    -splasher  using Q since 1996 -  Subscription  -  Win10
    -also older versions as needed for testing
