I am unable to enter info into my quicken Account. I have not upgraded to your NEW POLICY and don't intend to. I bought my version of Quicken and paid for the ability to use it. I do not use any of the downloaded features. I am 86 years old and don't require all your services.

What Q product are you running and what build of that product?  Do HELP, About
    Quicken for this info.
Without this additional info, there's very little that we can work with to advise you.
BTW, you did NOT buy Quicken.  You bought a license to use Quicken subject to the terms of the license ... which in some products means that Q turns read only when the subsciption has expired.
