My subscription is about to end, I would like to know if I can buy Quicken at the store
and add it to the current subscription?

    Yes.  Just make sure that your Quicken account has auto-renew turned off.
    The retail package will have an Activation Code that you apply from the Help menu selection.

    just to clarify the above - all you need is the Activation Code card from inside the retail package box,
    or the email that an online retailer should send you....
    You then just enter that Activation Code into your current Quicken Help menu screen to extend your expiration date.
    You don't have to re-install the software....

    We may purchase a Quicken activation code from a store and use the activation code to extend an existing subscription in the last 6 months of the subscription.
