They are the same.   Quicken is now sold as a subscription.  That’s the only way you can buy it

Also, no difference in the recent "year" marketing - all gets updated after install to the latest Release level -

The reason I ask is that there is a 20 dollar difference between the two version at Sam's club.

Check on the length of the subscription.   Maybe the more expensive one is more than a year

don't see TWO Quicken Premiere products listed on the Sams Club website - just one - Out of Stock - $44

The lower priced version is a one year subscription. I can't find any information on the subscription lenght for the other version.

The first url sows the $44 version. The second url shows the $64 version. Both say quicken premiere. But the pictures seem to be reversed.

P.S. If you scroll down on the $44 version you will see that it says it is one year subscription.  So they are the same product, just looks like they never took down the $64 one when they should have.

Interesting. When I was at the canton store today. They had plenty of the $64 version. But I could not find the $44 version.

The $64 price actually makes more sense compared to what Quicken charges.  $44 is a bargain for premier.

So then both versions are a one years subscription?

From what I saw, yes they are both one year subscription.

    Going down the page:

    On the other link:

Notice it is for 2019/Out of Stock.  Even though Quicken 2019 is "subscription" and would update to the latest version the access codes do expire after two years, so it makes sense that it isn't being sold.  They should just take it off the site.

$45 is quite a good deal for premier.

Went to sam's club today and bought quicken premiere for $44.86 even though the package said 64.88. It has no date on the box. Just says one year subscription. After buying it I think I should have bought deluxe for 29.86. I really don't use the premiere features.

There will be an Activation Card INSIDE the package with a code and expiration date -
You will install the software, and then start it - and go to ... Help --> Enter Activation Code

Since I already have quicken installed. I can just enter the activation code.

I downgraded from Premier to Deluxe last December.  Deluxe meets all my needs now that I've given up on using Bill Manager to make payments.  (edited to remove question, I re-read you last post).
Anyway, you could exchange the unopened box but if you install it, help says you can no longer downgrade and get a prorated extension of the subscription term (that's what I did).  There is a 30 day return policy but I'm not clear how that would work with a discounted retail copy.  Whatever you decide, the price you paid is a real bargain...

I personally have used Deluxe for most of the time I have used Quicken and it has served me fine.
Premier does have a few bells in whistles that Deluxe doesn’t have, like more tax and investment reports, an investment performance tab (most of which can be found on the Home tab), Zillow downloading, Morning Star X-Ray portfolio, and one that surprised me (but I never used) current currency exchange rates.  Deluxe has multiple currencies, but no downloading of the current rates.  I think maybe that Deluxe doesn’t have the new Investment “Dashboard”.  I don’t know if it has the “Simple” vs “Complete” investment register view.
