@Carla C.  Perhaps you are referring to the old Quicken 2007 and its predecessors? As you may be aware, that software reach the end of its development 15 years ago due to aging technology and changes in Apple's Mac operating system. Due to inept management at former parent company Intuit, it took several starts, stops and stumbles over the next 7 years on the road to a next-generation of Quicken Mac, a complete start-from-scratch effort built on more modern software technology. So nothing was taken out of Quicken Mac, but some features from the older generation of software has not yet been re-created for the current program.

Quicken, now an independent company, has been working to add features to Quicken Mac over the past 7 years; progress has been slower than anyone would like, but it has been substantial. Nonetheless, the small development team has a list of hundreds of features user would like to see added to Quicken Mac, and only a handful get implemented in each new release every couple months. And because we Quicken users all use the program differently, each of us may have different "top priorities" we wish the developers would work on next. the reality is that the developers continue to add functionality to Quicken Mac, but it will take years for them to work through all the thing users want them to do.

There is an existing Idea thread on this site requesting the addition of charts/graphs on reports. I suggest you click on this link to visit that thread and add your vote (click the little arrow in the yellow box under the first post). You may also want to add a comment about why you find graphs a useful/necessary feature, and what scenic types of graphs/charts you most urgently miss. When developers take up user ideas like this, it's helpful for them to understand as much as possible about what users expectations are and why certain functionality is important.

    Hello @Carla C.

Thank you for reaching out on the community and telling us about your issue. I do apologize for the issue you're having. On Mac the only options for graphs are Spending Over Time and Net Worth Over Time. The other report options do not have graph options available currently. The other options are on the home screen as well but not all reports support graphs. I do apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

    Thanks,

    Quicken Francisco
