Why is my account in alphabetic order based on memo line instead of by date? How do I correct?

One of my bank accounts has transactions listed in alphabetical order by memo line instead of by date. How can I correct?

  Click on the Date column header.

  Clicking on a column header will sort by that column. 
  Clicking a second time (not a double click) will reverse the order.  In your case, click on the Date column  header.
