Windows Virus & Threat Protection hangs QW

Quicken (QW) UI hangs when accessing some folders. Antimalware & QW go crazy in Task Manger. Must end QW task to get control back. Turned off Virus & Threat Protection and QW acts normal. Created an exclusion for Documents\Quicken folder & verified QW.exe is allowed to access via Controlled Folder Access, QW file validation & repair passed (no errors), all no help. Must turn off Virus & Threat Protection to use protect, please help!

QW Premier version: R32.12 (32b)
Build: 27.1.32.12

    Being that the issue you are experiencing can have multiple causes-- It may be best for you to contact Quicken Support instead as you may need troubleshooting done in order to have this successfully resolved. They also have the ability to screen share with you (if you feel comfortable doing so) and will be better equipped to help you accomplish and set up what you need.
