using category groups in budgets

I am trying to set up a budget using my existing categories and subcategories. Inorder to simplify things I group some of my categories and subcategories under a new category group and try to set up a single budget limit to the category group. However, I could not find a way of doing so. Instead, I still have to set a limit to each category under the group?

    Category groups are just like they sound a way to group things, they aren't something that you can budget as a whole.

    Hi Chris, thanks for your reply. However, according to Quicken Help there is a way to put a budget number on a group category without having to go into the individual categories. I took a snap shot of that paragraph from Quicken Help. Unfortunately when I clicked on the link for Advanced Budgeting nothing happened!

    The Advance Budgeting link it seems to be a self referencing/bad link, it takes you back to the same page.

    Well with the mention of "Everything Else" I do see one way to do this.
    Start in Graph View, and enter the total you want for the category group in Everything Else.  Remove any categories from the budget under that group.

    You have to do this in the Graph View because as far as I know there isn't any way to set the "Everything Else" for the category group in the Annual View.

    P.S.  It only seems "half supported" at best.  Not only can't you edit the "Everything Else" category group budget number from the Annual view, I notice that when I click on the link that is suppose to show the transactions:
