Cloud data is newer than data on my pc...... It warns me if I sync the cloud data will be overwritten... Is there a way to download cloud data to my pc?

    No.  The Quicken Desktop data file is the "master", and as if there is a conflict between what it thinks the data should be and the cloud data set thinks it will be, the Quicken Desktop data file wins.

    Same here. Except it crashed Quicken. Question is: wtf are my transactions in the cloud? That’s none of their business and has no legitimate purpose.

    That is the way Express Web Connect and Express Web Connect + work.

    Direct Connect and Web Connect (importing a QFX file) don't, but even with these there are other things stored in the Quicken Cloud dataset like Quicken Bill Manager connections, and maybe licensing, and MorningStar X-Ray portfolio, ...
