I hav been using Quicken for ages But never experienced this message:
"Quicken cannot open this file because it is read-only or you do not have permit to open it. Do you want to copy it to an different location and open it from there? (yes/no)".
I am running latest version of Win10, latest Quicken De Lux and there has been no changes in my set-ups.

What is the full path to the folder that contains your Quicken data file on the hard drive? Are you using OneDrive, Dropbox or Google Backup?

Where is your Q data file stored? Start with the drive letter and provide all of the info thru ".QDF"The other possibility is that your file is hopelessly corrupted.
