My Quicken Deluxe is up for renewal and I am looking for a better price.

If I buy the software other than from Quicken will I have any problems in getting it to work?

    No, you should not have a problem.  The retail purchases provide an activation code which can be applied via the Help menu in Quicken.  When you buy directly from Quicken, they apply the code at the time of purchase.

    Be sure you don't purchase a "new subscriber" product.  Those can't be used to renew.

    Good point.  Quicken considers a user to be "new" if their Quicken account does not have an active subscription OR their subscription has expired more than 30 days.
