Update to Current Version

I continue to receive the following error message "The process cannot access the file 'C:\ProgramData\Quicken\Inet\Common\patch\quickenPatch\w3880\base\RPMMigration\MigrationTool.exe' because it is being used by another process"
I have not been able to complete any update in months. My current version is 33.19. I don't know which process is preventing this update.

What is the full path to your Q data file?  Is that file being automatically backed-up by DropBox, OneDrive, etc.?

That error message has been reported in other threads.  It is caused by your anti-virus software preventing the install.

Supposedly the newest patch release (R34.16) was to fix this, but maybe it hasn't for you:
    Notice on this: https://community.quicken.com/discussion/7895340/windows-r34-xx-release-us#latest

One workaround is to install with the anti-virus software off, the other is to download and install the patch manually from here:
