Can I keep personal finances separate from non-profit business finances

    You can have separate data files.  Go up to File-New.  Unless you report it in your personal tax return.  Then it should be in the same data file.

    I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

    Most, if not all, of the SuperUsers have multiple data files.  Our "production" file and several for testing. Additionally, I have 2 more data files for non-profits where I'm the Treasurer.
    The data is stored in the file ending with .QDF ... not in the program itself, just as your Excel spreadsheets are separate from the program.
