    Can you give us more information?  What happens when you try to open the files?  Do you get an error code?  What else happens.  Any additional information will help us to help you.

    And where are your files?  They should be on your computer hard drive like on the C drive. Usually in your Documents in a Quicken folder.   If not, then copy it to your hard drive first.  What version did you install?  Maybe you need to first update to the latest release.

    I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

    You can't click to open Saved Files, you need to Restore Manual Backup Files or Automatic Backup Files.
