How to add interest and not stocks bought into a transaction for one account?

    • In this account, click on the Transactions tab
    • Click New
    • In the Type field, select from the drop-down menu Income (Div Int, Dist) > Interest
    • Enter the date
    • Enter the Interest amount
    • It isn't necessary to enter a Security name here, since this is just cash being added to your account, but you can enter the Security for later tracking if you wish
    • Click Save
