Is there an issue with the "bills and income" tool

Please explain why, in my bills and income, a recurring error is happening. Specifically,
when a scheduled monthly income is received and accepted, instead of moving to the
following month, it jumps two months ahead. Then when I correct it to the proper month,
it shows up as "skipped" under the "status" column.
