Unable to edit future transaction

When I try to edit a future transaction, it bounces back to the previous transaction in that series. Command right click does not help

If this is a scheduled transaction, you can't individually edit future instances of the scheduled transaction. Think of the scheduled transaction as a template for the creation of real future transactions; you can edit the template, but not future instances the template will create when you mark it Paid/Deposited.

If you wish, you can mark all the future transactions up to the one you want to edit as Paid/Deposited, and then make the edit you want. Although you have marked it Paid, it remains in the future, so it doesn't affect your current balance; it will just sit above the "today" line in your register.

There only is one scheduled transaction in the system, ever. You cannot change the, e.g., December transaction to a new amount if the November transaction has not been processed and recorded yet. Wait until the December transaction is next one in line and then you can change "this and all future" transactions.
