Why is there a predictive typing BOX above every entry field in the Register?

    It's a Win11 feature you can disable. Nothing to do with Quicken. Do a web search for "Windows 11 text suggestions".

    Quicken user since version 2 for DOS, as of 2025 using QWin Premier (US) on Win10 Pro & Win11 Pro on 2 PCs.

    Thank you, it was Windows 11 Settings-Time&Language-Typing. turn off Show text suggestions.

    It's a user preference you can disable.

    No this is not what i'm saying. Try this Click on Date in Register, see the Black Box, I don't want this, it has never been there before, till the last two updates.

    I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

    Try this Click on Date in Register, see the Black Box?
    if not maybe it is a problem with only Windows 11 Version.

    I just now upgraded to R36.54, and I'm not seeing the issue.  BUT, I'm still on Win10.
    What type of account is this occurring in?
    Under both this Release and the prior, I clicked on the date field in both banking and investing accounts ... and didn't get the mystery black box.

    Q user since February, 1990. DOS Version 4
