Quicken installation repair?

If the same version of Quicken is reinstalled from a mondo patch, will it essentially do an installation repair?
The reason: One of the Quicken Standard Reports is not behaving correctly (reference link) and perhaps a reinstall may fix it.  I want to reinstall the latest version approved for all users, R36.57.

    That is correct.  Installing the Mondo patch replaces all the files.

    I don't see it recommended as much these days, but it use to be one of the first troubleshooting steps if an install of the program look to have gone wrong or corrupted in some way, was to recommend installing the Mondor patch install.

    Note that installing the Mondo patch will not change configuration files.  That is the reason the recommendation is that if the "program" is still what is suspected as the problem (other than something on the server) and installing the Mondo patch doesn't fix it, one step up is the QCleanUI procedure which gets rid of the configuration files, before doing a reinstall.
