Why doesn't the faux window pop up when I click Transactions>Write Checks? This is a recent change.

    Hmmm, it pops up for me, just as it's always done. Is "Write Checks" grayed out or black? (If grayed out, in the left sidebar, select an actual checking account, not a cash or savings account, or a group heading such as Cash or Banking.)

    Try this: in your checking account register, click New transaction. then click Edit Details in the blue bar under the transaction, and then click the Print Check tab. Do you get the "faux check" window you were looking for?

    Laos, let us know what version of macOS you are running. (There have been few oddities with Monterey, but I don't have the latest SO installed on any of my Macs.)
