Why can't I click on the 'hide' box in the category list?

I'm trying to hide old transfer categories so they don't show up in the drop down lists. However, the hide box will not let me click on it.

    Most likely you are trying to hide a "transfer category" like [Account], you can't hide these.

    We cannot hide old transfer categories.  I suggest renaming the accounts so that they're easy to recognize and sort at the bottom of the category list.  For example, prefix the old account name's with ZZZ.

    Not saying you are wrong, but the instructions lead you to believe all you have to do is 'hide' these old categories because you would not want to delete them. Thanks for your feedback, just wish it were a different answer...
