Check number does not appear in download.

When I download transactions from my bank the check number does not appear. So with no payee showing, no number, and perhaps several checks made out for the same amount, how am I to know which check for $75 dollars has cleared? I have called several times on this issue and was told the issue has been settled. Well, it hasn't!!!

    Please provide the full name of the financial institution and the connection method being used: open the register, press Ctrl + Shift + E and select the Online Services tab

    OK, let's start at the beginning.
    What bank, as it's shown at TOOLS, Account List, in the "Financial Institution" column.  On that same dialog, what's shown in the "Transaction Download" column for this account?
    Lastly, is this a recent issue?  About how long has it been happening?
