You can keep your current version, BUT, when the subscription expires, you will get a narrow left-to-right banner and a panel on the opposite side of the screen from the Account bar taking up about 20% of the screen.There is no way to remove it without renewing.The only option is to find a copy of either 2016 or 2017 Quicken which can open a subscription version of the data file and it was pre-subscription so it does not have the screen loss.See this thread: Expiration-Banner

Also note that "not connect it to the internet" means no more program updates either.
