Stock quotes download

I have an investment in Vanguard Wellington mutual fund.
Every day that I download my quotes, I have to do the download several times to finally get the 'today' NAV. Sometimes, it's it's past 6:30 pm EST before i get an update for the day that registers in quicken.
Is it Q's problem, or Vanguard's??

    It's not a problem.  There is no rule that says when a financial institution must publish the day's NAV.  They're typically available by 6:30 pm EST but sometimes they're published later.  You can check for the quote on other sources (for example, Yahoo and Google).  If they're not there, the financial institutions hasn't published yet.

    I download quotes for an assortment of funds, from Fidelity Investments, quite reliably at 5pm Central.
