If you are getting this error message when trying to update Quicken from within Quicken, you might want to try downloading and installing the Mondo Patch from https://www.quicken.com/support/update-and-patch-20182019-release-quicken-windows-subscription-product.
If you still get this error, try disabling your anti-virus program and then try installing it, again.  Turn the anti-virus program back on, again, when the installation is completed.

You are welcome.  I am glad it worked for you.  FYI, when updating the version from within Quicken returns and error or simply does not install properly, downloading and installing the posted Mondo Patch will often work.  Just something you might want to keep in mind.
