Filter for years etc.

Am i able to lock the filter to always populate to THIS YEAR?

    It depends what you mean by lock the filter to always populate to THIS YEAR?.

    We may check the Remember register filters after Quicken closes preference: select Edit > Preferences...



    Then, as long as we leave a register's date range filter set to This Year, the filter should persist.

    Are you perhaps talking about defaults used when generating reports?
    If so, please take a look at the settings in Edit / Preferences / Reports and Graphs.
