Isomeme said: My guess is that various parts of the Windows Quicken app were developed at different times, using different tools and APIs, and using different color selection mechanisms. As long as everything in the app UI displayed in unvarying colors, that didn't seem like an important problem. But it makes implementation of configurable colors an utter nightmare.
