Why is it that the Quicken Mastercard from US Bank and Quicken don't play nice together?

Seems to me the "official" Quicken credit card would mesh seamlessly with Quicken.
Seems to work fine at first but then always reverts to "change your password" screen.
US Bank has confusing username and password for site access and then another access ID and password. So tired of trying to get this card to work with Quicken. Ridiculous.

    I have the Kroger Mastercard from US Bank ... and USB simply doesn't play nice with Q.
    I finally succumbed to paying the $3.95/month to upgrade my USB connection to Direct Connect, which works reliably.

    Kroger is my grocery, my pharmacy and my gas station. When I spend money at Kroger, I get credits towards gas.  $100 in purchases equates to $0.10/gallon reduction in gas prices.  It's not unusual for me to get upwards of $0.60/gal reduction.
    So, I EASILY make up for the $3.95/month in Direct Connect fees.
