When you purchase a subscription you obtained the right to download and install the Windows version as well as the right to download and install the Mac version. If you first downloaded the Windows version to your Windows computer and now you have a Mac and want to download Quicken to it, all you need to do is to go to your online Quicken.com account and download and install the Mac version from there. There is nothing for Quicken Inc. to swap out for you.
Also, if in case you do not already know this, QMac cannot use the QWin data file as is. Once you download QMac you will need to convert the QWin data file before you can use it with your QMac installation. You can read the following Support Article regarding this:
.One last comment: If you do convert your data file from QWin to QMac you should know that it is in some ways a 1-way street. If later you decide to convert back from QMac to QWin the conversion process will not include any of your investments data. Just something to keep in mind.

@HolmesR pretty much what @Boatnmaniac said… except that the article that he links to is wrong, and has been wrong for several years. Almost all knowledge base articles related to conversion are woefully out of date and no matter how many times any of us point this out, they never get fixed.
You will NOT download a conversion utility as stated in that article. When there WAS a conversion utility, it was 32 bit and it was eliminated when Apple eliminated support for 32 bit apps years ago.
Instead, when you follow the prompts to convert your Windows QDF data file, it will be uploaded to a Quicken cloud server which will perform the conversion and then download the converted data file. Depending on your internet speed and file size, this could be super quick, or take a while.
