status icon error

Over the past several months I have been getting false status icon errors on my Quicken Deluxe software. After an update of my accounts, Quicken will indicate the "you have tasks to perform" icon (blue dot) or "you have transaction" icon (red flag) on some of the accounts but when you click on those accounts there are no blue dots or red flag icons indicated on the account. What would be causing this error?

    I have begun seeing these false blue dots after the last update (quicken premier R52.2) . Has anyone been able to get rid of these false "tasks to perform" icons? If I open the account it disappears, but then reappears again when Quicken is opened.

    Are you talking about icons showing in the Account Sidebar (aka Account Bar)?

    For blue dots, did you actually review the downloaded transactions in the register and make changes, if necessary? https://help.quicken.com/display/WIN/Status+column+icons
    If you didn't, I could understand that the icon reappears because the "New" status still exists.

    Yes. the blue dots on the left side of the account sidebar. Quicken says there are no transactions to review. It appears on accounts that are completely reconciled with no new transactions or anything to review. These are all accounts from Raymond James, perhaps it is something to do with their downloads.
