Bank Reconciliation

I'm trying to balance my savings account and a transaction shows up on my register, but not on the reconciliation page. So I'm off by that amount and I don't want to have Quicken do an automatic fix. I forgot what it is called, but it wanted to do that to balance and which would make it all off by twice as much. I tried shutting Quicken down, but when I go back on it's all still there even after trying to delete the reconciliation and starting over.
