Transactions not downloading
for about a month my 5/3 bank, Discover and Chase credit cards have not been downloading new transactions. I tried to reset the web connect the transactions download but my register values change, the bank account has negative values when the account was never in the red. I tried disabling and reconnecting my online service with the same issue (I believe this is what the reset does).

Same issue here using a credit union credit card

This happens on several of my credit card accounts at different banks. NFCU, Elan, Citi, Bank of America. Doesn't happen all the time but most times. Downloads some transactions but not others. Or sometimes no transactions at all. I've reset all the accounts, disconnected and reconnected, read tons of posts here looking for solutions. Maybe fixes the problem for one cycle but it always returns. Never comes up as an error, just acts as if the download completed. I have just started doing them all manually. Yes, its a huge waste of time when I pay for Quicken but researching this problem is an even bigger time sink.

Gosh this month the problem is across many of my accounts. resetting is not resolving the problem. Seems I am doing more troubleshooting than enjoying this product.

I am having the same problems as described above. Affects Bank of America and FNBO. I called support when it happened a couple of months ago and we went through some long processes to solve; I think it involved backing up the file and creating a new one. This shouldn't be necessary ; this is a basic function of Quicken. Now it's happening to me again. Just make it work. This is what we pay an annual subscription for.

Account download freezes. It was working fine until several days ago. Running Quicken Home and Business. 32nd year as a Quicken user. I do not see any solution to the problem searching the internet. Tried resetting accounts. That hangs up too. Validation not helping. Is this a programming glitch or unique to my PC?
Thanks for assistance.

Me responding to me. The download seems to be working at the moment. What did I do? Nothing different.
Hopefully it continues to function.

This morning Chase bank download is missing all transactions from 8/19/ thru 8/23, Bank of America is missing all transactions from 8/10 thru 9/3 and Elan is downloading no transactions at all on 2 different cards when there should be many. No errors pop up for any of these.

It appears no one from quicken is going to address this post. My Chase has been downloading BUT Discover and 5/3 still are not.

I am having the same problem. transactions will not download for any account, unless I deactivate and then activate the account. If I do that, Quicken changes the original balance on the account, and apparently messes all kinds of transactions. Posting dates shown on the register are wrong. If I right click a transaction, then ctrl and click on copy transaction to bring up the View Posting Date dialog it shows the correct date in the dialog. If I click OK, it updates the register to the correct posting date (correct as in it matches the institution's posting date).
This has made a royal mess of all my accounts, as I now cannot balance any account because the amounts are wrong. I am having to go back though thousands of register entries dating back to December 2015 to see what is lost, what is incorrect, and what needs to fixed to make my accounts reconcile. I am close to giving up on Quicken altogether.
Does anyone have a solution to these problems?

I have had the issue of opening amounts being changed when de-activating and reactivating many times on many accounts. So much so that i went through every account and made a "memo transaction" on the opening date of each with a note as to what the actual opening balance was so I can check it against any changes that might have occurred. Thankfully I have not noticed other transaction amounts being changed and to be honest I never knew the ctrl click on copy would bring up all that info so no idea if posting dates have changed :) I agree that this is all very frustrating from a product we subscribe to, to try to simplify this stuff. I just go to manually entering until I have time to deal with the problems and fixing things.

I too have some recurring problems with downloads. My municipal bond portfolio at Schwab rarely prices the bonds to match my Schwab transactions or prices leaving me to tryu to catch up manualy. Frequently when my credit card accounts at both Citi and Chase make autopays with my Schwab bank account the transfer is posted as a transfer-back into the source account requiring me to notice and repair the destination account manualy. This may be because of a date mismatch but it never seems to be corrected automaticaly.
