All I want to do is create a manual deposit, consisting of two checks from two different people. I want the entry to show similar to the way it does in QuickBooks (picture attached).
How in the world do I accomplish this in Quicken Classic Premier desktop 2024? I've used QuickBooks Pro for years and this is a very simple process in that application. I don't see how to accomplish this in Quicken. I've successfully entered manual deposits consisting of one check/one payee. The 'Split Transaction' function doesn't seem to work with multiple Payees.
When you receive each of those checks, record them as a Transfer to an Asset type account … I call mine "Undeposited Checks".
THEN, when you actually deposit them, record a transfer from that UC account to your checking account.

Yeah, I already thought of that. But that's a clunky workaround. Quicken already has a "Write Checks" function. Intuit needs to add a "Make Deposits" button/function, to enable users to make a deposit consisting of a check and cash, or multiple checks - just like they have in QuickBooks. This type of deposit is pretty common! Thanks for the response though!

Intuit has no control of Quicken programming. They no longer own the program having sold it off in 2016.

Intuit sold Quicken to H.I.G. Capital in 2016, and H.I.G. sold Quicken to Aquiline Capital Partners in 2021.
And, the concept of an "Undeposited Checks" account, in Q, originated 20+ years ago based upon a similar concept in QB.
Haven't used QB for quite a while, so don't know how they do it now.
