bill reminders

how do I get rid of these past bill reminders—-when I go to enter a payment for a vendor through the bill and income reminders section, I get these past reminders (of things I have paid through the bill and income reminders section !!!) I know I can click No but it scrolls through maybe a half dozen dates or more in the past! this is very frustrating!!!
