Why is Target Guest Card no longer working?

My Target Guest Card stopped working, I was getting an error for 4 days in a row. So I disconnected and tried to reconnect, here is part of the error code:

FI name: Target Guest Card

"aggStatus" : "FI_TIMEOUT",
"cpAggStatusDetail" : "Retry. Post Login Secure Token Value is empty "

  • I may have just solved my own problem. Seems like Target Red/Circle Card online is just down for maintenance:

    Website says We’ll be unavailable until March 18 at 12am CT.

    Before everyone panics and blames Quicken…. a quick check of Target's website (it's amazing what you can find when you actually check your card provider before you raise red flags) says they are doing maintenance and will be back up on March 18.

    As some of you have mentioned, the Target Card Services website is currently experiencing maintenance through 3/18/25, which is likely causing the error you are experiencing.

    Well…the maintenance period is over (March 18) and I can log into the new (and improved?) Target Card website. I have access to all transactions, etc, there. However, Quicken will still not connect to download transactions and still provides a CC-502 error. I tried restting the account, deactivated, but can not activate following that.

    Now that the maintenance outage is over what do we need to do to restablish Quicken access?

    Agreed. Website works like a champ, but Quicken connection goes through userid, password and including the two factor check, and then insists there are no accounts to match.

    So, the question is how do we get back in.
