(QWin) Target not downloading new transactions

    I had turned off Target downloads a month ago when the problem started. I just went into the rcam target card website, and found 4 recent charges not yet loaded into Quicken (Premier R62.16 Windows 10 Enterprise). I entered them manually into Quicken. I fully deactivated the download settings, and deleted the FI and account information on the Account Details General form. I then went into Add Account and added the account, including the MFA validation. I did the second MFA validation. Quicken then reported "Account Added" and "Downloaded transactions from the last 2295 days". But the four recent transactions were NOT downloaded.

    I've submitted report through the Report A Problem option. Note: I had two graphics to attach, showing the confirmation message and the transactions that were not downloaded. My first attempt to submit the report failed because it won't accept two additional JPEG graphic files????

    Hello @Bob@45,

    When submitting a report via Report a Problem, it limits you to 10 attachments. That is the most likely reason you got an error. I can see you were able to send the additional screenshots by sending a 2nd problem report.

    Are the recent transactions that haven't downloaded the ones from May 2nd and 6th in the screenshot you sent? When I review the logs that you sent with the screenshots, those transactions are not showing. That indicates that the financial institution did not send the information to us.

    Is the balance on your Target accounts reflecting correctly?

    It seems a 10-attachment limitation is low, considering the number of attachments Quicken normally includes itself. It would seem reasonable to allow a user who is reporting a problem to submit at least 2 additional attachments without exceeding the limit. Please pass this suggestion up the chain of command.

    Yes, the missing transactions are the ones from May 2 and 6. Yes, it's reasonable to assume that they were not in the information sent to Quicken, which is why they would not get matched. The questions then become 1) how do I set up the OSU download interface so that I get the newer transactions instead of only the ancient ones? 2) Since manual downloads from the website are not working either (missing header information in the file), is anyone at Quicken working with Target to get that issue resolved?

    The 10-attachment limitation was already reported in ticket CTP-7831.

    To answer your second question, yes, the issue with QFX files not importing has already been reported, ticket CTP-13044. Since it is the financial institution that generates the file, we do still recommend that you contact the financial institution about this issue also.

    To address the first question, now that a couple more days have passed, have those transactions appeared, or are they still missing? Are there any newer transactions, and if so, have they downloaded into your Quicken?

    No, those transactions have not appeared.

    There is one newer transaction, showing posted 5/9 on the Target credit card website. It has NOT downloaded to Quicken.

    I haven't been able to get any transactions after April 24 to appear. Active, deactivate, reset, nothing seems to help.

    Hello All,

    Thank you for taking the time to visit the Community to report this issue, though we apologize that you are experiencing this.

    I forwarded this issue to the proper channels to be further investigated. If you haven't already done so, please send the following information, which our teams will need for the investigation:

    1. Please send a problem report with log files attached by navigating to Help>Report a Problem.
    2. Please provide at least 3 transactions that are posted on the financial institution side, but did not download into Quicken. We will need the Date, Payee, and amount for each of those transactions.
    3. Please provide a screenshot from the financial institution, showing that the missing transactions have posted on the financial institution's side.
    4. Please provide a screenshot of your Quicken register, showing that the missing transactions are not there at all, not even manually input (if possible).

    Note - If you do not want to post the additional information to this discussion, please feel free to include it with the problem report. Problem reports are limited to 10 attachments, so you may need to send a 2nd problem report with any additional attachments.

    While you will not receive a response through this submission, these reports will help our teams in further investigating the issue. The more problem reports we receive, the better.

    Have new (not entered) transactions from Target today. So after comprehensive OSU (for which Target was turned off), did a single update for Target. Did MFA by email. The 3 new transactions (see snapshot included with the problem report) did not download.

    Since problem report allows for only 10 attachments, I disabled CONNOLD and OFXOLD to make space for my bank statement snapshot.

    Sanitized data file is too large to upload, but I can make it available online if needed.
