Cannot add a New CitiCard account with Web Connect
Quicken Classic Deluxe
Version R62.16
Build 27.1.2.16
Windows 10 Education
Under "About Quicken" It reports the subscription has expired
YET
Under Check Subscription Status it says " Subscription is UptoDate"
Also I've been charged and the web based account indicates the subscription IS up to date
Why am I asking about this ?
Well I've been attempting to setup an Online Homedepot ( citibank Homedepot consumer credit card ) Ie a NEW account from scratch
and following the steps has now been failing for weeks now. I saw a recent thread that indicated that IF a quicken subscription had expired that this could
cause a failure with a new web connect account? Something about down grading the rev ?
Maybe I'm stabbing in the dark here but at this point am desperate and more than a bit tired [Removed - Rant/Speculation] so am looking at other threads where this behavior has been mentioned.

Hello @yendopostal,
We appreciate you reaching out regarding this issue!
If you haven't already, please follow the instructions found in this support article to resolve the issue that shows your subscription has expired in About Quicken.
Once that is done, and that no longer shows in Help > About Quicken, try adding the new account again and see if it works then.
Hope this helps!

Thanks, this did Not help : followed the steps in the support article and although this did resolve the "subscription has expired" issue
the original issue is NOT resolved. ie still cannot created a new linked account.
BTW: I've also attempted the steps with another browser Edge to no avail.

I am consistently getting this ( within quicken) after I login to the card account and authorize quicken's access which does complete with success.

Likewise I am not seeing any issues when authing and completing the authorization step on the card's website.
This step has worked for weeks now with NO issues.

Thank you for following up!
To clarify—has the new account you're trying to add been previously added in Quicken, and you're now trying to re-add it? Or is this the first time you're attempting to add it? Also, do you have any other accounts already set up in Quicken with Home Depot Consumer Credit Card? If so, are you receiving any errors when trying to update those as well?
The reason I ask is that, when reviewing your account on our end, I’m seeing that you're receiving an internal FDP-105 (CC-505) error. You can find more information about this error in this support article.
Please check back in and let us know!

Thanks. As far as I can see the info on the CC-505 error is due to a timeout due to to many connections on the banks server end, and not relevant here. This is not the issue I'm seeing I can connect over and over again to the citi site and auth and get a "your account has been authorized successfully" back each time.
CC-505 - Quicken can't add this account because the [financial institution's] website is temporarily unavailable.
Also step #1 in the support article says "wait a day and try again" I've been doing this for over a month now.
Step # 2 points to updating the account ( refreshing the online account information ) not really relevant as the account is not even getting setup, must less making the online update step.
I DO have a NON Home Depot Consumer Credit Card account in quicken that Is working with no issues and working with the web connect method.
Please do not tell me I have to delete and re-setup this account !!
