Quicken - some past transactions disappeared / reappeared

After direct connect today, transactions beyond September 2016 have somehow disappeared. This is the case with several accounts at different financial institutions. Very Scary, so I closed Quicken after about 45 minutes reviewing what the heck may have happened. After reopening Quicken things seem to be okay. Not sure if the missing items were missing before the direct connect or not.

    Check your data file for any corruption. I would, at least, run Validate and Super Validate on the data file.

    I have the same issue. I have transactions that disappeared from a closed and hidden account that had a balance of zero dated APRIL 2022. Interestingly, it appears to only be the transactions under a single level 2 category. (Expenses > Production - sub1, sub2, and all of the individual categories within the subcategories.)

    I DO NOT sync to an online account. I'm using Quicken Classic Deluxe for Windows. I have Validated the data file.

    Having to go back years until I find a report that matches and then resolve all of the missing transactions going forward is (1) BAD ACCOUNTING; (2) Time Consuming; (3) Frustrating; (4) Bad Accounting; (5) Bad Accounting; (6) Aggravating.

    How do we get Quicken tech to actually look at this issue?
