Macy's corporation is re-issueing its store cards — covers at least Macy's and Bloomingdale's. Separate account numbers for each cardholder on the account. Fine print on the card says the issuer is shifting from Department store national Bank to Citibank. The change occurred yesterday for me. This morning the Quicken connection to the account failed. Resetting was no help. I can sign in directly to the Bloomingdales site — but this is what I get through quicken.— Quicken Classic, Windows Home 11, Ver. R62-16

    I checked your account on our end, and I’m seeing an internal error code of FDP-102 FI_TIMEOUT, which presents as a CC-502 error in-product. This error is typically caused by maintenance on the bank's servers, preventing Quicken from being able to establish a stable connection with the financial institution's server.

    However, based on the changes you mentioned — the shift from Department Store National Bank to Citibank and the reissuance of cards — it’s very likely that the error is being caused by those updates happening on the financial institution’s side. These types of transitions often require some back-end adjustments before Quicken can reestablish proper connectivity.

    If the support article doesn’t resolve the issue, then as stated at the bottom of the article, we recommend contacting Quicken Support directly so our agents can collect your log files and escalate the issue if necessary.
