I currently am using Quicken 2005 Deluxe (which I have used the last 20 years). It would be extremely nice to use your Apple Iphone Quicken App to add, check, or handle activities currently I can do from my Windows Platform without syncing my data to your servers. I do not wish to upload any of my data into your servers for various reasons. I would like your app to have the ability to access my QDF files from my server (or using a Synology Quicken app on my NAS server) via my DNS name (from dyndns.org) or even an IP address and using the same imbedded password I currently to use to access my Windows Quicken. My goal would to be access my personal quicken data remotely with my iphone, using your iphone app as an interface and perform the same functions I can do from my Windows desktop platform. My Synology NAS acts as a file server, but with a Synology App, could simulate your Server synchronization requirements.

Your Q product is so old that all online connectivity expired, by Q, years ago.

SO, even if you provided the ability to connect your iPhone to your server … your Q product wouldn't qualify.

This never going to happen for the simple reason that the Mobile App doesn't work the way you think.

The Mobile App knows nothing about the Quicken Desktop datafile.

What it knows about and is basically a GUI for is the Quicken Inc server/Quicken Cloud dataset. Which other than storing similar/partial Quicken Desktop data file data (along with different data about various online services like downloading transactions) the two have nothing in common.
