Suggest a "today" button to get back to today's transactions. Note Microsoft Outlook Calendar has such a button to click. I use my Quicken as a future cash flow planner as well as all else it can do. I could out there 1-2 years of transactions and want to go to "today".

How about a simple CTRL-G (go to), followed by T. It already exists.

Just Ctrl-G Enter does the job.

I checked the Help section and there's another easy way - just press the END key four times. It'll take you to the last entry in the register. I tried it and it works!

Alternatively, rather than entering lots of future transactions, you can set up Reminders for those transactions and choose a time period up to 12 months in the future to display the Reminders in your register, or none at all if you want.

Reminders also play very nicely with Quicken's Projected Balances graphs.
