Sync between Quicken Classic Deluxe on iMac to Quicken Classic app
- Why do my totals on Quicken Web look different then Quicken Classic Deluxe for Mac? Sync is on for all accounts.
- Is it two way sync?
- Do I have to Update on my Mac or will it automatically sync?
Version 8.2.1 (Build 802.57282.100)
macOS 13.7.6

Hello @Leslie Jones,
Thank you for reaching out with this issue. The sync is two way. Per our article on the Quicken Cloud, we do recommend that you sync your desktop file prior to making any changes in it. The reason for this is that the file saved on your computer is seen as the master copy, so any changes from Quicken on the Web or Quicken mobile may be overwritten if there are new changes on the desktop side. For instructions on syncing, please review this FAQ:
If making sure your file is staying synced with the Cloud doesn't correct the issue with the balances looking different, and you have verified that you are looking at the correct file in Quicken on the Web/Quicken Mobile, then the next step is to review to see what is causing the incorrect balances (missing transactions, duplicate transactions, etc.), since the troubleshooting may differ depending on what is causing the problem.
I hope this helps!
Quicken Kristina
